Young Rich & Broke is a collective of writers who have a passion for helping others start down the path to financial stability, and then entrepreneurship. We are all young professionals and half of us are still paying off student loans. However, we are all convinced that we don’t want to work until we are 65 and then retire, and we don’t want you to either!

As it stands in America, there isn’t really a great system for financial education in our traditional school systems. When you look on the internet, most of the resources available to educate young people about money are from places like Bank of America or Capital One. We don’t want to say that they might have a bit of a bias when it comes to teaching us about money, but… you know.
Introducing YRB: Stabilizing your finances
We’re here to have fun, learn a bit, and discuss the different ways that money impacts our culture and influences our decisions. From managing debt and refinancing loans to stock tips and frugality, we’re here to discuss topics that can help all of us continue to learn more about money.
This website will feature fine folks who have liberated themselves from seemingly insurmountable amounts of debt, rebuilt the credit from nothing, and have started saving large portions of their income. We figure that these stories are inspirational to us, and that you may find them to be as well. It helps to put a face to some of the tips that we advocate here.
Next level: Entrepreneurship
After learning about money and how to break free of some of the bad habits we might have taught ourselves or learned from our parents, we want to help you create multiple streams of income.
This may result in you having an insatiable desire to start a food truck, online business, start dropshipping, invest in the stock market, invest in Bitcoin, or even start your own blog. Here, we hope to give you the tools you need to create a niche side hustle for yourself and your team. It can be hard to find a variety of information like this on the internet, which is why we are introducing YRB.

We will also be featuring entrepreneurs who have created their dreams and are in different stages of their own small businesses. Our hope is that seeing others that are making things happen will be an inspiration for you and allow some insight into what it takes to be a successful businessman and businesswoman. You will have opportunities to ask these small business owners your own questions and interact with them in engaging ways.
